We landed in San Francisco around 10am, and took about a 33 minute $35.10 Uber to Park Central where we will be calling “home” until Monday. We requested for early check in so we can settle in and start our day exploring! We decided to not rent a vehicle, so Uber will be our method of transportation this weekend!

I got 3 Mexican Street tacos: 2 carne asada, and 1 chicken. Eddie got his usual steak burrito with only cheese, but they forgot the cheese….
A few doors down is a cute little dessert place called Susie Cakes
We each got a mini cupcake, I got a flourless chocolate with white frosting, and Eddie got a regular chocolate with chocolate frosting, and a chocolate chip cookie for later lol..
We walked towards Birdies ,and ran into a coffee place called Union Street Coffee Roastery where we had to go in.

This brand is very soft and butt grabable, and I LOVE that Eddie wears a bunch of their items…maybe because he likes when I touch his butt in the pants, or because he has big strong muscles in their clothes lol. I would compare it to Lululemon for men, just as eye catching, great quality, and this company caters to men. When we went into the store, it literally was 98% mens item. In the far back left corner was a 3’ x 6’ women’s section that consisted of 2 shelves and one clothing bar lol…I’m upset I didn’t take a picture because it was definitely comical…
The real nice guy Ryan, working was wearing a really cute pair of tan pants, so I asked what they were..he pointed to a pair of pants called Ripstop Climber Pant which Eddie bought along with a pair of Everything Chino
Since I felt left out, I just got a white water bottle since I like to collect those
A few doors down is Birdies. I just so happen to come across these cute slippers on Instagram, and wanted to order but knowing we were going to be here, I figure I would put it on the PoIL! Birdies is San Francisco based slipper shoe company that looks luxurious and comfy!
I was having trouble deciding and it got dripping sweaty hot since there were a ton of people in the small store, AND they were doing a photo shoot of their new shoes that is dropping November 5, which I got to sneak a peek at💁🏽♀️!
Uhmmm…..I had ZERO clue that the famous Megan Markel is a huge fan! While we were waiting, I was going thru my emails and came across one from Birdies and had her featured!! I suppose if I read the entire website, I would have known…Apparently, I have the same taste as the Duchess of Sussex lol

There was one lady helping customers during the photo shoot, and since it was getting overwhelming even for me, she locked the door and closed up until it calmed down. I was literally dripping of sweat, guessing it’s cuz there was a ton of people in a small store, and I was feeling pressure on deciding on a 2nd pair of shoes, oh and I’m sure the mimosa didn’t help either. I finally decided to get the one pair and call it a win! We were taking about our next stop at Rothy’s. She told us about Fillmore Street Shopping , which I can’t believe I didn’t already have on my PoIL!
The lady at Birdies said it wasn’t walkable, but when we Google mapped it, it said it was less than a 20 minute walk. We decided to walk it thinking she possibly wasn’t a huge fan of walking…until we did…so we now understood why she said it wasn’t…
We had to walk up a 45 degree angle road…did I mention UP hill?
Picture does zero justice and it looks like it’s no big deal, till we were huffing and puffing, and sweating in all of our cracks..Well, we finally made it to Fillmore Street Shopping, and off to Rothy’s we go!
So we get a few stores down, and a lippie stick store called Bite Beauty Liplab grabs me and pulls me in…They sell lipsticks, AND they custom lipsticks for you…WHHHAAATTTT??? Ok, time out….I need to see what this is all about. Eddie is so amazing that he didn’t mind cuz this is something I’ve ever done, and something we don’t have in Chicago! They have 2 different custom packages: 1st one was a semi-custom package with 2 lipsticks from a set color pallet, choice of finish (matte, smooth, etc?), choice of scent for $80. The 2nd custom package they offer is 2 lipsticks from a custom color palette where you can actually custom THE perfect red (or whatever color) for you by mixing whatever colors together, choice of finish, choice of scent, and a mini lip kit of scrub, primer, and agave mask for $150.
I can’t justify spending $75 on a lipstick, but I figure I’ll try 2 for $80. While that is still high for the lipsticks I normally buy (I think $24 is the most I normally spend on one), I figure I probably won’t do this again, so why not…The lady that was helping me seemed kind of like a snot, and was having a little trouble with her demeanor but whatever, I was excited to see if I can find 2 colors that I loved. My 1st color choice was to look for a mauveish neutral color. I knew i wanted a matte finish since it is longest lasting…She mixed one for me to put on, and she’s like “well?” Well, I’m not exactly feeling it, not sure what it is..That seemed to annoy her (which I don’t blame), but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Each time, she asked if I wanted to continue with a package, and each time I said if YOU can find me a color that I want that looks good, I will be more than happy to. So she mixed another, and another, till she mixed the 5th one, and finally was like yes! Let’s find another color! So we did, and she mixed 3 more, and of course I now wanted 3…Someone had made a 180 degree turn, and was all of a sudden soooo nice. I assume people come in and have them mix and don’t buy, so I can understand..But lady, you have no clue what kind of buyer I am lol…So I asked about the 3rd one, and she asked her manager and said it would be $55…That didn’t make sense to me, I would think it would be at least $40 or less the more I got but it didn’t work that way. Good thing Eddie was around cuz he said why don’t I find another color and do 2 of the $80 deals..Oh yea!! Ok!! He is so smart lol..so I ended up getting 604, 319, 249, and 601.
There was a lady next to me who was there with her boyfriend for her birthday gift doing the $150 package, and every color she had I loved…She ended up trying on a few of the colors I had and loved them too! Im not sure if she bought, but she kept saying how much she loved my colors…Well damn, I liked hers too and the mixer lady was trying to get me to try hers on…I think she got the idea that I am an easy sale lol…I decided on just the 4, and she started the process. She got out little jars with what I assume is the matte finish, and put the colors in each jar
Then she put jars in a warming machine, and I think a mixer
Then she poured each color in the mold, and put this freezer machine
Then she put the lipsticks in the container! Voila! I have my semi-custom lipsticks!
Finally all done and off for a 20 min $13.50 Uber to Allbirds
We pulled into a little alley like street and went in to look…didn’t buy, just tried on for future sizing (:
Well, it was closing time for the store, so we looked on our Google Maps for ideas what to do next…Looks like nothing left in the area, sooooo off to Barbary Coast. Uber was 19 minutes here and $14.46
This place is cute! The front area is a dispensary, the back area is a pot lounge! Whhhhhaaaaaatttt??? So I get some goods, of course legally lol, and head in the lounge. There is a 30 minute limit and maybe 3-4 round booths on one side, and maybe 8-ish 2 person tables on the other side. There were clear signs that said no photography or video, so hopefully you can kind of picture it. It has red and mahogany decor with a bunch of flat screens to watch. Unfortunately, there was zero ventilation so I thought I was going to suffocate, but whatever…it’s only 30 minutes…
We sit down at a table next to some guy who came same time we did, probably in his younger 20’s. I noticed he popped what looked like 2 edibles in his mouth and started rolling his joint and packing a water bubbler at the same time. Ok, maybe he’s meeting people…didn’t think much of it. He hit the joint, hit the bubbler, took a sip of water, and repeated. I’m thinking damn…15 minutes goes on with this one hit after another…I had 3 hits of my prerolled and I was flying, this guy was literally NONSTOP for the entire 30 minutes. I would like to assume it was cuz it was a hot box in there, or it was a really good one I got lol. I am literally in amaze that this guy is alone and getting all sorts of fucked up…by himself! He seemed completely calm and normal, and I couldn’t stop talking about it… I said to Eddie (in what I think is quiet) “are you watching this? I am legit impressed!” I couldn’t help but watch him from the corner of my eye. At least that’s what I assumed I was doing, for all I know I was full blown facing him and watching lol. He’s watching something on Netflix I guess, and I’m feeling all sorts of funny from 3/4 of ONE preroll. I feel like I drank a gallon of water in the hot box, not saying a word, and just people watching. Damn, the buzzer went off and 30 minutes went quicker than I expected. The hotel was about a 15 minute walk back…So glad Eddie was there with me for the company and was sober to walk us back safely to the hotel. Now I know we walked back, but when we got to hotel it all seemed like a blur lol…
Back to the hotel to call it a night! That is until I saw there was a restaurant…DO THEY HAVE COOKIES?? Clearly we go in and look at the dessert menu. Chocolate flourless cake with cream and ice cream? PERFECT! I inhaled half of it, and nighty night…
