After we woke up and ordered room service, we left the room at 1030am to make a stop at Margaritaville since we had a 2/1 voucher, and it is right next to us. They were so good, we got another round! Ok, yes its 1030am here, but in all fairness, it is 1230pm back at home lol…
We walk back to the Flamingo, and head over to the Go Pool for the Saturday pool party. It was about a 20-ish minute wait to get in. At the Go Pool, their security is more relaxed than at Rehab where we saw Pauly D. They just looked in my bag and put me thru. At Rehab, they took my bag apart even looking inside my wallet in all the pockets, I couldn’t take my eyedrops in, medicines had to be checked in a different security area, no gum…it was crazy. Go Pool was not even close to being as thorough so that was nice. The pool was already packed, and we searched for a small spot to claim. We finally found one, and got in the giant pool of pee. We were 2 margaritas in, so it made it easier to join the party. I think Kris was soaking it all in since he has never been to anything like this before.
A can of spiked Arnold Palmer was $16….sheesh lol, but its Vegas, and Kris was buying! People watching, talking to random people who didn’t believe I was his mom lol..well, maybe they did..not gonna lie, but they were all stroking my ego a bit, and please don’t stop (:
They were out of Arnold Palmer, so I ordered Modelo. I’ve had it in a bottle, never a can and it came in a tallboy and said Modelo Chelada, white can with orange lettering. I don’t speak Spanish so I didn’t question it. 1st sip I took was gross, but I figured it was the can taste. 2nd sip was just as gross, but figured again it was the can I was tasting. 3rd sip, I asked Kristefer to try it. He told me I’m drunk so my taste buds are altered. Ok, he may be right so I had a few more sips until I told him he needed to try it. Well, I was right, he said it was gross so I tossed it. I googled it and found out it is a tomato and lime flavored Modelo. Yuck…
I’m not sure what time Jesse came on, but the DJ that announced him called him Jason McCarthy hahahahaaaa…..that was terrible, he even corrected himself and said Jesse McCartney…
I don’t know what he did or how long he was there for, but I guess he was there, maybe 15 minutes? We couldn’t see the stage there was so many people in the pee pool, but I also didn’t care to see what he was doing. We left around 430pm to head back and get ready for the night. Kris definitely had a good time at his first pee pool party lol!
I got us 7pm tickets to see Jabbawokkeez at the MGM for $257.50. We sat in row G2, seats 16 and 17.
I almost got us front row tickets for the same price, but I was afraid the seats would be too close. It was definitely a better choice because we had almost dead center view and we could see perfectly! This was our view
With the tickets came a voucher for popcorn and a drink. We sat down and Kris went in line, which was maybe 50 feet away. When he came back he said he lost a set of our vouchers and had to pay for a drink🤦🏽♀️…smdh….oh well, someone picked up an extra free drink and popcorn!
I think the show was about 1.5 hours and was for the most part pretty good. There were some parts that were lagging, but mostly entertaining. They pulled 3 separate people from the audience and did a small performance with each of them, it was really cute! I read a bunch of mixed reviews so wasn’t expecting much, but this performance was good, I recommend going!
We stumbled upon Wolfgang Puck and sat at the bar to eat.
Ok, omg it was so good-maybe cuz we didn’t eat all day, but it was really flavorful and we inhaled it so fast. We ended up ordering a steak skewer also, which I think was perfectly satisfying…not stuffed and not hungry! We spent $69 with tip for 3 appetizers and 2 drinks, but we were only charged for 1!
So I noticed during dinner that my bracelets were all severely tarnished…and smells! I always wear my jewelry in the pools, but never has this happened! I googled it, and apparently with very heavily chlorinated water, it can turn your silver like this. Apparently with any chlorine it can dull, but this must have been overdose to kill the all pee in the pool. I am sure I can polish when I get home, but for now I guess this is how I am wearing it ):
Time for the long walk back!
So Kristefer loves sweets just like I do, so when we saw Hershey’s, it pulled us in. Yea…
He got a chocolate peanut butter sandwich cookie and a peanut butter brownie. I couldn’t do it, but I had a bite each…ok, delish. He inhaled the cookie sandwich, and left the brownie to take back.
We found this cute beer place Beerhaus and sat outside.
They had live music and an open outside wall with giant jenga and a bunch of games to play. If they had this by us, it would be a spot we would go to regularly..so cute! They had the beer I liked from yesterday!
I am still trying to get ready for this long walk back since my hamstrings and calves hurt from the night before, not sure if its from all the walking yesterday, or if it is from walking around in wedges last night. Probably a combination of both, but regardless it made it more difficult..
Well we decided to call it a night since nothing else lured us in…
